As one of those awful dual-faith type people who fucks with spirits from various pantheons and has for a long time, I am happy to with St. Expedite a happy feast day before I go do Tattwa Shuddhi and then summon a serpent-queen tonight near a river.

there’s beauty in nearly everything, art extends far beyond a painting. the way the sun paints the sky every morning, the way the moon and stars shine through the darkness at night. birds and clouds decorate the sky. trees are beautiful in every season, even when they start to die in the fall they turn the most beautiful colors and adorn the ground. even when they’re completely dead in the winter, soft snow rests peacefully on the empty branches in their place.

plants grow in every vibrant color, climbing up towards the sun to thrive in its warmth. soft grass grows to cushion every step you take. water may be transparent and colorless, but it reflects beauty like a mirror. it’s the source of life and creation.

mountains are inspiring, they show that art can form from millions of years worth of internal collision. we could do the same. the calm of a storm holds brilliant stillness that I aspire to embody at any given moment. insects and little beings embellish the outside air with melodic noise, so do you with the words you speak.

humans are art. veins, bones, organs, all abstract art that give you the ability to feel and breathe. you’re a canvas and every scar, freckle, wrinkle and bruise are paintings from experience itself. you should love yourself as much as you’d love the prettiest painting in the world, the most beautiful song in the world or the most interesting book in the world, because you’re art too.
