Day 10 yogabody hip opening challenge
So, did these as well as I could, lots of blocks, bolster, and a stool for support .
There is a muscle in my right glute that has been killing me off and on for a few weeks, and these stretches seem to make it worse rather than better, so I'm backing off pretty far on these for now, not that I can get deep in any of them, but cutting the time held shorter if I feel it straining that muscle.
Day 9 YogaBody hip opening challenge
The psoas buster was a new one to me. This is what it's supposed to look like.
I'm very sure I did not look like that. It was intense and I couldn't hold it the whole time, and I'm sure my form was rubbish too.
The inclined scissors I've done quite a lot, one of our regular poses in yoga and I do it when I stretch on my own. I couldn't get ANYWHERE near as deep as he did though, not even close.
My right side continues to be extra tight, probably 30% tighter and more painful than my left. I'm thinking about getting a massage, a deep muscle one, to see if that will help.
