“Oh, gosh!” Allie’s cheeks burn a little bit. Slaying gods is one thing, answering questions like this is another entirely. “Well...

Love has no gender for me, personally, so I can speak generally. Um... superficially? A good voice is really nice! It’s hard to describe what a good voice is, but... I like ones that can be, um, soft spoken when they need to be, but also very powerful, too. I like... I like eyes, too. Like, they tell stories, y’know? Hilda’s are always so full of fire and, and determination. But Ysayle’s are always a little cold, and she tries to hide them a lot. But both are very attractive!

Otherwise, I like gentle people, mostly! Or, rather... people who know how to be gentle, and when. And mindfulness, too! Not, like, selflessness... that’s a hard thing to be. But just being aware of other people. When I see, um, like Hilda, when she’s helping in the Brume, or just... she might seem a little brash, but deep down, she’s really careful, too.

...and, um, don’t tell her this especially, but I like... uh, y’know, like, pointy ears too. N-not solely! It’s just a nice, um... but I know it’s really hard for her. She’ll do her nose wrinkle thing again if she finds out, so ssh!”

“Listen to it.

She’d tried. Really, she had. 

But her strikes strayed wide, while Y’ladri’s counters did nothing but hit dead center. Truly, did she ever miss? After, came rest. Lounging like some scraggly sort of creature next to Y’ladri’s powerful, honed frame. When she spoke, it gave Kismette a start, both the suddenness and voiced concern.

“Sorry,” she whined. “Been an off day.”

And that look of hers. Y’ladri wasn’t easily sold on nonsense.

“It’s nothing,” she insisted.

That slow-curled frown conveyed just how unconvinced she was.

“Drinks,” she starts. “Then we can talk.” And a godsdamned ice pack for the freshly-bloomed bruise on her shoulder.

“Candle? Oh.. I don’t really, I don’t really have any? I mean.. maybe something Dal has, he had a few that smelt nice but I wouldn’t know what they were.” soft rumble of a hum settled into her chest as she thinks about a better answer “Maybe something that reminds me of the sea? Or spices? I err I’m not sure most are too expensive and I only use them for the purpose of light?” 

“I’m super open about things in both relationships!” Allie beams proudly. “You have to be when you’re dating two people!”

“Hilda has trouble talking seriously about her feelings, and tends to get very evasive when I discuss mine... but she just needs a little patience, really! She does open up about it when it really matters, and she has her own way of showing me how she’s feeling even when she doesn’t. Publicly, um, she really doesn’t care what people think. Sometimes it’s a little much and I swear she forgets we’re being watched! E-even if I don’t mind, I do have a reputation in Ishgard...

As for Ysayle, well... she’s far more private about our relationship, which I’m also okay with! She’s not affectionate at all when there are other people around us, although she does send me loving glances every now and then. I can totally tell. She’s very good at understanding and discussing emotions and stuff like that! Sometimes a little too good. She doesn’t need the Echo to tell what I’m thinking half the time, I swear.

Also, obviously, both of them are aware of my relationships with them! Like, Hilda knows all about Ysayle and stuff. They give each other a bit of distance, but I think that’s just out of respect for me, almost? But I’m always quick to communicate if anything important is going on. I-it’s the least I can do.
