Jake nods at a corner pocket and sinks the eight-ball. Easy as anything.

He stands up straight, smugness blooming around him, filling Bradley's senses. "So? What's my prize?"

Bradley steps in close again. Swallowing the remainder of his hesitation, drink long gone, he reaches out and settles a hand on Jake's waist. He's warm through his t-shirt, all solid muscle. Bradley wants to map out every inch of him, to learn all the contours of his lovely skin with his mouth. Jake would taste good, he knows it. A hand comes up to hold his arm, squeezing at his bicep. Reminding Bradley that Jake is just as much of an Alpha as he is, grip strong and unyielding. Bradley wants Jake to hold him that tightly all the time.

"Me," Bradley tells him.

His lip grazes the shell of Jake's ear. It's the closest he's come to tasting him yet, and even the ghost of a taste has him hungrier than ever. Jake pulls back, his other hand coming to rest on Bradley's waist, mirroring one another. The heat of his hand is a brand on Bradley's side. Bradley wants the imprint of his palm to stay there like a tattoo, life lines and heart lines and fate lines inked into his skin. Marked by Jake, something as permanent as a a bite.

"Is that so," Jake says, less of a question and more of an observation. "You gonna let me take you home and knot you, Bradshaw? That what you want?"
