Edible black holes are actually my favorite food, and they come in different forms. That is, shapes, and even taste! The most common type of edible black holes are faintly sweet. All edible black holes weight nearly nothing, though despite that, they're actually very nutritious! The texture of them can change, but they all have one similar trait texture wise, they're *all* crispy. When they're ripe, they're very crispy. And, tend to break apart like how aerogel would. Just less fragile. When they're not fully ripe, they're more so bendy? They still break, and are still able to snap in half, but its more so chewy. During my time spent on earth, I've figured out that the closest thing resembling less-ripe edible black holes in both taste and texture, are dried dragon fruit slices. (Minus the seeds.) Edible black holes are actually a plant. They grow in many different voids, and some people even grow them by themself! But, unfortunetly, they're so difficult to take care of with how invasive they are, I myself don't even grow them. As I spoke of earlier, the most common kinds of edible black holes, are the faintly sweet ones, which sometimes sell in stores! You can only tell the difference by the plant they're growing on. The common ones have pink-ish purple leaves (again, very similar to dragonfruit here on earth). The ones with deep purple leaves tend to taste like chocolate, and the rarest ones, with black leaves, taste like meat. Nobody can really tell what kind of meat though, and I think that's for the best. I've only tried the meat ones twice, they're pretty tasty, but the aftertaste is awful. The rare ones only grow in void 3. Which, is unnervingly close to void 1. I'm pretty sure they taste so weird because of that factor, considering how much radiation comes from void 1. Anyway.
