Another YiFang opened…this one is in the same strip mall as Burlington and Daiso. YiFang uses high quality teas from Taiwan and real fruit (no powders or juice concentrates). Their menu seems a bit limited but maybe that’s because they just opened. They have teas, milk teas, fruit teas, and tea lattes. You can specify the size (medium or large), level of sweetness, level of ice, milk substitutes, and toppings (e.g., boba, aiyu jelly, grass jelly, pudding, aloe, sago), etc. There isn’t any food but they will add waffles later.

Place your order at the register. They don’t have their rewards system set up yet. Rewards are location specific.

Peach fruit tea (Large, $6.25, no sugar added, less ice): This had bits of fresh peaches, a bit of lime, and a light colored tea. The peaches were sweet, so no added sugar was needed. The peaches and tea went well together and I also liked the addition of lime.

Most YiFang locations look like a food stall in a Taiwanese night market. It’s a small shop with benches for seating (and no tables). Free wi-fi.

Just soft opened in the old The Alley Menchie's space, Yifang uses high quality teas from Taiwan and real fruit (no powders or juice concentrates). Their menu is limited during the soft opening and includes fruit tea, brewed tea, milk tea made with fresh milk, flavored tea, sugar cane, and traditional drinks. The top 5 drinks are listed on a chalkboard outside. Most drinks come in two sizes and the sweetness and ice levels can be adjusted. You can also add boba, aiyu jelly, grass jelly, etc.  I didn’t see any food for sale.

Mango pomelo sago ($7.99, large size only, 30% sweetness). This is a frappe – a blended drink made with ice. It’s like a smoothie. Sago are tiny, soft balls made from the sago palm that are flavorless. The drink had a lot of sago and a good amount of fresh pomelo bits. It was a filling drink that tasted like a fresh mango smoothie with a bit of tang from the pomelo bits and some texture from the sago pearls.

While most Yifang locations look like a food stall in a Taiwanese night market, this location retained the old The Alley décor though they added a few neon signs. Parking in Old Town is usually a challenge.
