these 3 just give off very strong polycule vibes to me! not to mention that they literally get revenge for each other in true lesbian fashion. if gaslight, gatekeep and girlboss was a trio it would be them.

jiang li and tong'er were childhood friends to lovers and they found xue fangfei on tinder and now here we are. if you believe in the inherent romanticm of finding love through shared hatred and mutual enemy then this one's for you.

4. Merlin, Gwaine and Arthur or mergwainethur from BBC Merlin

this is a bit more popular amongst the fandom but it's very much giving falling in love through devotion and what not followed by two guys who decided to tolerate each other because they are absolutely gone on the third guy. the former two being gwaine and arthur and the latter being merlin.

not to mention that they were literally branded as courage, strength and magic in that one episode. even the show was loud about it 👀😏!!

3. Zhu Yan,Wen Xiao, Zhuo Yi Chen and Pei Si Jing from Fangs of Fortune

i mean do i have to explain this one? look at the poster. china's first censored polycule or something. insane chemistry followed by insane devotion. they also give off mlm and wlw solidarity to me. pei sijing definitely just tolerates the men for the sake of wen xiao but wen xiao, yi chen and pei sijing are definitely pulling zhu man's leg whenever they can. not to mention that these people canonically raised a kid together 👀.

2. Merlin, Gwen, Lancelot and Arthur or mergwenlancethur from BBC Merlin

this one's definitely unpopular and i will not apologize for putting BBC Merlin on here twice but these four are the very definition of polycule marriage to me. i often see mergwenthur which i am also a big fan of and this just elevates it for me because we need lancelot to balance out the crazy of mergwenthur but he probably just ends up making it even more chaotic just the way i like it ig.

1. Kandreil (Kevin, Andrew and Neil) from All For The Game

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I think Yi Chen is one of the most misunderstood characters in the series.

He wasn’t always right, and some of the things he said when they were younger were hurtful. But I think people often overlook how much he genuinely cared about Xiao Chen throughout the story.

Even when he disagreed with Xiao Chen’s choices, he continued to support him. In Episode 11, instead of telling him what to do, he encouraged him to stop hiding his feelings and see things through now that he had finally taken the initiative.

I am so tired of seeing “Lu Feng this” and “Lu Feng that” all over my feed. No. This man is awful. I don’t care how awful his life is or has been. I don’t care that he has a tragic backstory. I don’t care how unfair life is. I don’t care even if Xiao Chen was being a bitch (which he wasn’t. He was scared of his homophobic mother after seeing how Cheng Yi Chen was treated.)

You don’t push someone down the stairs. I don’t get why you people are cheering on that Xiao Chen is disabled. “My boyfriend broke up with me because of familial and societal pressure and he’s a coward. Let me violently push his brother down the stairs.”

I have rly only seen both Round Trip to Love movies, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have an understanding of who Lu Feng is. He is a violent man who uses violence to get what he wants. He does not love Yi Chen because he would let it go and stop. Your boyfriend is a coward and unfortunately he’s not brave enough for you. So what?! You don’t violently attack people. That’s not justified. That’s never justified.

It’s like saying Lhong from TharnType was justified in:

Blackmailing

Attempted murder
