The scar on his face? Probably Saul. He loves his psychotic dad tho
David is so true to his faith but if he lived now he would definitely be one of those who is gonna start his green text on 4 chan with "im straight, but" then proceed to write the most outrageously, diabolically gay thing that ever graced the internet and whenever i remember this i come very close to dying from laughing my ass of i mean can you even comprehend the amount of gaslighting it would take for Yehonatan to convince him it can't be sodomy if its a covenant between bros
About Yehonatan and David's age gap.
I had a discussion with @davonati about it in the comment section but i have since found a mistake and fixed my conclusion. I will take this opportunity to layout the thought process behind why I think Yehonatan was much older than David.
At the end of the day my theory borrowed later added headcanons mixed in with my own assumptions so it is not meant to be taken seriously but rather as a headcanon.
The Hebrew bible as far as i know didn't mention anything about Yehonatan or Saul's age, it did mention David's though. He was throned in hevron when he was 30 years old and was king for 40 years, first 7 years over hevron and the latter 33 over Israel.
Saul died 5 years after he became king since Eshbaal ruled over Israel for 2 years before David took over. So David was 35 when Saul died.
In the English bible it is added that Saul was 30 when he was throned, Google says he ruled for 42 years (im not sure what source). I chose to run with that because it sounded reasonable enough.
Since Yehonatan was Saul's first born, it is reasonable to assume he is 14-18 years younger than Saul. This is because bar-mitzva sets the age of adulthood at 13, and that "have many children" is a commandment and many try to fulfill it by giving birth at an early age.
Therefore if Saul died at the age of 72 then Yehonatan probably died when he was 54-58. Minus David's age and you get their age gap, which is around 19-23 years.
Over all, 5 years less messed up than my old conclusion :D
