The Abomination is a minion that can be used both offensively and defensively. Just having it on the field will stop many strategies, particularly low-health minion aggro strategies, right in their tracks due to the deadliness of its Deathrattle ability. As a 4/4 minion with Taunt, it can trade for at least a few weaker minions or damage a beefier one - and hopefully finish it off with its Deathrattle. The Deathrattle is similar to Explosive Sheep, but damages heroes as well as minions. This card's main vulnerability is to Silences and Transformation effects. Return effects can also be used to remove it temporarily. Abominations are a type of undead creature first seen as a unit in Warcraft III and then again in World of Warcraft. This card's art depicts an Unstoppable Abomination from the Kel'Thuzad raid encounter. Abominations are twisted, mutilated undead creatures comprised of multiple dead limbs and body parts from many different corpses. They are enormous warriors, scarred by loose stitchings and putrid, open sores. They love to carve flesh and tear their enemies apart. The slow-moving and dull-witted abominations constantly drip blood and smell like disease-ridden slaughterhouses. They carry large cleavers into combat and wield various sickle-bladed hooks on their disproportionate limbs Almost all abominations lack any real intelligence, having an I.Q. closest to that of an ogre on average. Abominations outwardly appear strangely joyful due to their absent-minded expressions and mannerisms, though this is most likely due to their low level of mental capacity. Like their undead cousins, abominations lust for flesh and are known to eat not only the living but the dead as well.

Because of this, if the player had a Bolf Ramshield, they will take no damage, because Bolf would intercept the 40 damage. The current Health would remain the same, while the maximum Health would increase to 40.[5] There was also a bug that caused Amara to deal damage to a Ragnaros hero after Ragnaros' Health is raised from 8 to 15 by Alexstrasza. She appears to be one of the titanic watchers charged with watching over Un'Goro Crater, originally created to serve as the "experimental ground" of the titans. Titanic watchers (or simply watchers or sentinels) are the first generation of titan-forged. Most of them would later be tasked with the protection of specific places. The titan-forged were divided into the aesir, made of metal and masters of storms, and the vanir, made of stone and masters of earth. A few are also made of ivory. After they destroyed the Black Empire, they participated in the ordering of Azeroth along with their brethren. Amara appears to be similar to Nablya, a titanic watcher and apprentice of the titan Khaz'goroth that adventurers encounter in Un'Goro in World of Warcraft.
