It doesn't get more Australian than this. After wine tastings and choosing some bottles we stepped outside the wineries building. Extensive vineyards fanned towards the horizon. As we stood admiring this view a kangaroo hopped up the rows directly towards us. Normally, native animals are cautious and shy. Usually kangaroos freeze in fright or bound away. Not this time. No, no, no. We held our breath as our daughter Bonnie stepped closer. Savoring the moment, they stared at each other. Finally, Bonnie raised her camera and took this shot. Although the winery bustled with international tourists, they all missed this iconic Aussie experience.
