Photo: A 2D slice of a 6D Calabi-Yau quintic manifold
In algebraic geometry, a CalabiâYau manifold, also known as a CalabiâYau space, is a particular type of manifold which has properties, such as Ricci flatness, yielding applications in theoretical physics. Particularly in superstring theory, the extra dimensions of spacetime are sometimes conjectured to take the form of a 6-dimensional CalabiâYau manifold, which led to the idea of mirror symmetry. Their name was coined by Candelas et al. (1985), after Eugenio Calabi (1954, 1957) who first conjectured that such surfaces might exist, and Shing-Tung Yau (1978) who proved the Calabi conjecture.
Hey can I have a predator match up? I'm a fiery leo, quite bubbly an very stubborn and easily angered but a cuddle session later and I'm a happy bean :3 I love swimming and do it as much as I can, I also practice archery and gun shooting, I love any kind of weapon. I'm a big animal person and actually have a ball python named hissy. I want someone who can love me for me, plus size flaws and all X3.
I match you with Celtic!Â
Celtic is a big work out junky so he as energy to spare. He might even get you into exercising with him as a way to help you burn off some extra energy and spend time together at the same time. Bonus is getting to seem him sweaty and shirtless.Â
he isnt a big swimmer but will watch from the safety of the shallow end while you swim laps around him literally. Pool time usually ends with you asking him to throw you like a kid. Very fun.Â
Celtic while not a big pda guy has no problems of pulling you into his lap in the safety of your home. More often then not he is flopping on the couch next to you and pulling you onto his chest as he lays down to watch tv with you. Will 100% steal whatever your eating, Even if he doesnt like it he will still eat some. Its a weird habit of his.Â
Celtic would be totally into your snake and wants to feed it all the time. he thinks its so cool and wants to get more. Dont let him get more his best excuse is that âhissy needs a friendâ.Â
Celtic doesnt follow our societal norms so he loves your curves. [Gives him really bad baby fever though so be prepared for really soft and needy sex btw]Â
Holby City S21 E05 - Mad As Hell
A highly politically driven episode tonight, but for all of that, entirely (and incredibly scarily) accurate. The NHS crisis is a very real thing, and itâs certainly not getting any better. Just because itâs portrayal tonight was slightly heavy handed, doesnât make it any less true, so bravo for pointing this out.
Right. The YAU. Having been in some indecision about whether I was going to like it or not, the jury is finally in. I absolutely canât stand it. I donât think I can cope with watching jumped up, nasty young people causing difficulties every week. OK, yes, I know this girl has been through âsome stuffâ, and âis scaredâ, but the way she spoke to the staff there, it made me utterly furious. I have issues with the sense of entitlement and lack of respect from young people today anyway, and I could really do without it being shoved down my throat every week on Holby. Which brings me neatly on to the Godards. Now, I know there are a fair few folk out there who havenât taken to Ange so well. Perhaps itâs because I loved the actress in Sea of Souls, but I actually donât dislike her at all as a character - although as per previous, Iâd rather see her on Keller proper, or AAU, or anywhere but the YAU. BUT, oh my god, I could not stand her daughter Chloe! Essentially supposed to be a fully qualified CT surgeon, acted like a spoiled brat. I am led to believe she will be hanging around on a permanent basis too? I drop my head in my hands and groan!
I thought Petrenko was great in this ep - also the final scenes with Jac handing over Elliotâs dog to her care. Jac is just so awesome at supporting people she cares about in her own inimicable way! Also, I have to say, Frieda wears her boxing gear so well!!! I am very ok with seeing her in that semi regularly!
Other small things. I really felt for Ric. And Iâm so glad that his final scene with the megaphone wasnât him making a fool of himself. Loved the references to mental health made between Ric and Sacha. Was great to see Serena in scrubs again. Would have been nice to have a Hanssen moment or two somewhere in this huge staffing/patient care crisis, but the episode wasnât the lesser for it.
