Yarsanism. Another equally interesting religion, it’s followers consist of mostly Kurds and Lurs.
Contains aspects of Zoroastrianism, Christianity, Islam, Sufism, and Kurdish esoterism. They also have beliefs in reincarnation/migration of the soul (like the Ezidis), and that The Divine aka God incarnates into our world (i.e within ourselves).

yarsanism is a syncretistic religion that is believed to have originated in eastern kurdistan in the fifteenth or sixteenth century C.E. yarsans are mainly found in eastern kurdistan, particularly kermanshah and the qesirî şirîn area, but are also found as far as urmîyê, silêmani, kerkûk, and mosul.
a kurdish tembûr player. among kurds, especially those belonging to the yarsan faith, the tembûr is considered sacred and an important part of religious rituals and ceremonies.
