Seasonal Help
Yarn availability being what it is, I decided some stash security would be smart. Picked up seasonal help hanging around the grocery store. Can’t say whether they’re documented or not, but I defy anyone to racially profile them.
Posable plastic skeleton I found at the island’s “secret grocery store” measures 18.75 inches (47.6 cm)
I kinda want to do a yarn haul so here you go : low effort yarn haul and what I plan to make with it
( I treated myself to some natural fibers and omg I am so looking forward to using them they feel so nice. 😍 )
To start of I ordered 9 skeins of this green yarn called seashell. It's beautiful and really really silky. It's made out of cotton/viscose/linen so I hope it will be really breathable and light !
They will become a sweater, I already have the pattern and I hope I can get it done before spring so I get to wear it before it becomes too warm.
Next up is the only acrylic yarn of this order, the AmigoXL wich I believed was going to be chunkier, but they recently changed their branding and I made a mistake and ordered the wrong one.
With this I plan to make a beanie with bunny ears that a friend asked for, and I am exited about the color palette. 😍
Then for a beret for my mom I got this orange yarn. It's in a color she loves but I am scared because I picked 100% wool and as expected it's scratchy af. 😢
Then I am sooo exited to use these :
Alpaca yarn, to make a knitted frog amigurumi
Then we have cotton yarn to make another frog amigurumi
And last but not least I got some sock weight, merino yarn and I'm hoping to make either socks or gloves out of it. And it's so prettayeeee
Yarn people I need advice
What are your favorite yarn blends to use to make a sweater ? And a blanket ?
I wanted merinos for the sweater but it is way out of my budget :c
And wich yarn is best for sock ? I dont want acrylic but I'm pretty sure 100 percent cotton is gonna be to rough on the feet ?
I'm going to take ad advantage of Hobbi's black friday sale and get like six months of yarn in advance. Tehhehe

The urge to order new yarn for a specific project instead of figuring out what to do with all the yarn I have left over is very strong tonight.
Does anyone have good stash buster recs ?
Yarn Stash
Reorganizing the fingering weight yarn in my stash to squirrel away recent acquisitions. As one does on a sunny autumn afternoon. It’s a good thing that yarn is squooshy. 😋
Due to reasons, I've had to audit my yarn hoard and ended up having to make an Excel spreadsheet just to keep track of all the different brands, types, colors, and which colors had multiples skeins. This has taken days.
I'm finally done!
