And here is the ask that I have for you!!!!!!: How do you feel about Uncle Monty from Tangled: The Series, his physical character design, personality and voice, what would you have done differently in the episode "Rapunzel's Enemy" about how he had treated Rapunzel, do you find him to be so two-faced and definitely not as kind and sweet as people in Corona believe him to be, why wasn't he charged with throwing tomatoes at Rapunzel's statue, (Wouldn't that something like that technically count as vandalism? I guess none of the townsfolk would really testify against him, because they love Monty too much, and I would honestly find that so irritating. Nice guy or not, vandalism is vandalism!) do you think his behavior towards Rapunzel was absolutely mean-spirited and sort of disturbing and creepy in a way (He's a FULL GROWN MAN, picking on a young teenage girl!!!!!!!!! For God's sake, man!!!!!!!!) how do you think Varian and King Frederic would each react to hearing Rapunzel telling him about all the mean and hurtful things Monty said about her, and if you were Varian or King Frederic, (whichever one you choose is fine with me!) what kind of comeuppance and/or appropriate punishment would you give to the two-sided candymaker for being a total jerk to the Princess herself for little to no good reason and what would you say to him about him throwing tomatoes at her royal statue and just his petty and disrespectful treatment of her as well? (He gave her a lollipop that FELL ON THE FLOOR! What if she had gotten sick or received FOOD POISONING, man?!?!?!?! And all this just because she doesn't "follow the traditions" (she was literally kidnapped as a baby and isolated for 18 whole years!) AND because she changed the Goodwill seal.) So sorry if this all seems overwhelming to you. You don't have to answer if you don't want to, but I would genuinely love to hear your thoughts and opinions about this!!!!!! (And plus, it always kind of annoyed me how disrespectful Monty was being to Rapunzel, even after she had only tried genuinely asking at first what she had done to upset him.) That's all for now. (Bonus thoughts: If there is only ONE other genuinely good thing that "Rapunzel's Enemy" had taught audiences if you were to kindly and respectfully ask me.... is that people are not always as friendly and sweet as they might appear to be. By the way, Varian is super awesome, and for some weird reason, I would actually love to see King Frederic just directly confronting and going full on "Papa Wolf" on a terrified and stammering Uncle Monty after finding out how he had treated his little girl, Rapunzel, in that same episode while the jerkish candyman tries to haplessly justify his actions towards her. It would be so hilarious and satisfying and awesome to me at the same time. I also think that it would be so cool that if Varian himself also found out from Rapunzel about all the mean and hurtful things Monty did and said to her, he would absolutely NOT take that lying down, and storm straight over to the Sweet Shoppe, and then proceed to give the shocked and mildly frightened older man a HUGE piece of his mind for the way he bullied the Princess and the childish and petty reason he did so too. This would also be both funny and cool, the former because this is a teenage boy who manages to intimidate a GROWN MAN, and the latter for the exact same reason.... that and he's also defending his very close and dear friend, Rapunzel.
