The Prison is a long-rumored entity just under the seas of Yangshan, said to house Adolise’s most dangerous, world-ending entities, not limited to Gods.
Head of the Prison, the Warden - Chen Lingjun - is as old as time itself, and has been guarding the prison for as long as it has been built. Tasked with the duty by the Gods themselves, she accepted the charge to protect and maintain the Prison with her life - a duty that was not relieved in death, found when she was killed during a Prison riot.
Now her very existence is tied to the prison. She walks this mortal plane, unable to pass into the afterlife as the Prison must remain, a testament to the Gods’ will. The Prison must always have a Warden, and the Prison must always stand. Her entire existence is tied to the Prison - she can never leave it, not truly. She must always return to the ocean’s depths.
Guishan said to Yangshan, "The Nirvana Sutra has about forty chapters of the Buddha's teaching; how many of these are devil teachings?" Yangshan said, "All of them." Simian!' the monkey then responds. In this way, called through all six windows it responds." Yangshan said, "What about when the monkey is asleep?" Zhongyi got right down from his seat, grabbed and held Yangshan and said, "Simian, Simian, you and I see each other."
