Anyway, since I have posted SeiyaxUsagi stuff here before, there is this fanfiction I would like to write and have been plotting on and off for... well years. But it’d be such a huge project and there are already so many small things that eat away all my time. So I guess I’ll get you in the boat a bit? Share details, so maybe you’ll tell me to do the thing?

Like I said, I have already done a lot of plotting on this - the thing is it started on a crack idea and turned into a very seriously treated rewrite of the whole stars anime season. Yeah. Essentially without all the monsters of the day and instead with an actual working and/or realistic timeframe, for pretty much everything: seasons, birthdays, age, which Three Lights projects would take how long, which could run parallel to each other and which couldn’t. Let’s take the musical for example: The training would take a few months and then they would have a few weeks of performances. While in the beginning side projects wouldn’t be much of an issue, later on as the training gains intensity it would be more of a struggle, right? I figured since Seiya is the lead in the musical, Yaten and Taiki would have more time for side projects, that I planned in a way that would allow them all to run smoothly as long as everything works according to plan but if one ran in a bit of overtime... and yes, one will and make Yaten super fun to be around for a week or so.

Also I don’t want the story to read like a written script of the episodes. While I will visit certain scenes, I want to keep them very short and concentrate on new stuff. :)

Because of the crack idea everything is based on, I had to age everyone up by two years, so the inner senshi are now in their last year of school, while Haruka and Michiru just started university, Setsuna her masters degree and Hotaru is in her last year of middle school. For Mamoru I decided to go with his manga age which puts him at 20 years in his third year of his BA studies and of course he’ll be studying abroad. And while it will largely follow anime canon, I will take some things out of the manga. Mostly characters like Rei’s friend Kotono and certain things like still having Naru as  a part of their friend group in school. There might be other easter eggs, too.

I want to use as many minor characters as background characters as possible and really only switch to ocs if there are no alternatives (only occasions I can think of are some (very background) management and probably a chauffeur (and assistant in one) for Three Lights).

Galaxia would be part of it all too. But she would come in more slowly (mostly because the pacing will be somewhat more slowly, things like the musical won’t be done in a single chapter). Our solar system is such a small fragment of her galaxy, she really has better stuff to do. And her underlings will come with certain expectations from their home planets that won’t have them attack obese old men.

I think the chapters will be somewhat short, but there’ll be quite a few of them. I’ll use different povs, but would like to use a main one per chapter. And while I said I’ve done a lot of plotting, there is still so much plotting to do. Mostly for certain character’s personal arcs and the timing of the Sailor War and Galaxia’s meddling, how long Kakyuu will be a part of the story and like, everything.

What do you think? I realize I really haven’t given you any plot points but well. Would a story like that interest you at all? Even if it was a slow wip? Anything that would put you off or you’d really like to see?
