Hey All

Sorry for the long absence, several different major real life mountains have fallen on me in the past half year and I just had to redirect my energies elsewhere to deal. Several of the most severe issues are still on going but I want to get back to the Mirandyverse to help me cope with the nasty stuff in my real life.

I will be looking through my backlog of messages and getting back to you all as soon as I can, but its abig list so I will be chipping away at it as best I can.

I shall let you all continue to bask in the love of DWP2 and of course the original and all the new and classic tales we have in our wonderful corner of the interwebs.

 birthday: Much like our own deer Queen I have two birthdays. No, really I do. April 9th is my birth date, December 22 is my second birthday, the day I was born into my adoptive family. My Mum and I exchange gifts on this day.

meaning of url: Okay well there’s a story and a half there. My original nickname is XenaVirgin and has been since 2005. At the 2005 Xena Con I got to ask Lucy and Renee a question and when I stood up to ask it I started by saying, “Hi I’m a Xenavirgin.” Meaning this was my first convention and I’d not been a fan for too long.  Lucy bantered back with me and offered Renee to take care of that little problem etc. And when they did the Convention DVD the entire section is called I’m a XenaVirgin. So my 5 minutes of Xena Fame. Lol. The Lady Wife then bought me then next fan kit from Creation and set up a yahoo email to access the Club group and she thought it was a hoot to create it as XenaVirgin so the name stuck. That’s how Xenites knew me and they called me that and that was fine with me. But my other fandoms thought it was a bit weird and embarrassing to write or say out loud and they shortened it to XV and that really stuck, in fact most of my friends call me XV so I’m used to that.   Along comes my dear friend Dax (Daxilla on FFnet), her memory be always for a blessing, and she started teasing me by constantly calling me 15 (XV in Roman numerals = 15).  So to put the kibosh on that I took up the handle XVnot15. PPheewww. LOL

Uhh one of the very first, no not exactly, I came along a year or two into the fandom, but I know the First Ones so to speak, LOL.

And I'm in my late 50s. I'm an Egyptologist and ancient Historian so my whole being is geared toward longevity, including shipping. I collect new ships but never abandon the earlier ones, so I have a web of friends and connections back through the beginning of online fandom and even before that. (Original Star Wars fan in 3D conventions and watching the film 479 times in the cinema. )
