In the time growing up, Xue often would be found pouncing on Xiao as a wolf pup with her folded over ears and him often as a bird to evade her. The two also as 'teenagers' trained together. Xue was often the one who sought out Xiao in her moments of weakness to sit and just be in his presence. Despite everything, Xiao was always a good listener, even when she was silent.

At a certain point as the Archon War began, Xue fought for Rex Lapis. Xue never had romance or love on her mind -- it was a foreign thing to Adepti in general, and yet, she couldn't deny how somewhere in their time together, her heart started doing funny things when he was near. One night, she stood with him overlooking the Guili Plains in a rare moment of calm and carefully, their conversation devolved into her saying her heart does funny things when he's around.

Nonchalantly, carefully, she said it. From that, their conversation evolved into her as he told her he couldn't offer her a true sanctuary, not like she deserved, and she told him that she didn't need that. She just needed him. She desired nothing more then to stay by his side. She wasn't asking for a 'vow'. She was asking for Xiao, one of Morax's generals, to simply be the wind at her back and... to protect her heart as she would his. He simply told her then she isn't to leave his sight, and she responded she wouldn't... and then she kissed him as she had seen humans do with their lovers.

Somehow, after that, they made it to the end of the Archon War, and then, and only then, when the karmic debt raged, she used her soft chilling winds to soothe his pain and beneath the stars on the Guili Plains, they 'vowed' (adepti marriage). For a thousand years more, they remained as constant companions. On occasion sharing an intimate night but honestly, mostly they were content to simply be in each other's presence.

As time wore on, Xue became increasingly more affectionate with Xiao from hugs from behind to a simple glance of affection to on the rare chance, a kiss to his lips. She noticed how he too, softened towards her as well.

Then, one day five years ago, she found herself pregnant with a child. Xiao's. The first adepti since Yanfei to have been conceived and thus, a cause for celebration. Xiao found out and while his oath to Liyue remained, Zhongli suggested in a moment of calm to the Yaksha perhaps a new contract was in order; one to Xue and his unborn child -- to live a life not in service, but as a man protecting his family.

When Yuyan was born and named in honor of Rex Lapis, Xiao took the contract to heart and now, both raise their child, living in a suite at the Wangshu Inn.

Zhongli's senses, while are enhanced, has the unique ability to sense the vibrations of others near him within a few kilometer radius if he focuses. Over his six thousand years, he's gotten to a point where it's just a sixth sense.

Zhengyi's senses are the same in being enhanced, but his eyesight and sense of smell are the sharpest. It also makes him a deadly tracker when need be.

Aster is a loud drunk. She isn't mean or anything, just she talks loudly then she usually does. Usually pretty cheerful. Has a medium alcohol tolerance. Beer is her go-to.

Augustine is a quiet drunk. Honestly, he doesn't change much compared to how he already is. He might reveal a bit more then he intends on what's on his mind. He has a high alcohol tolerance. Wine is his go to.

Caelum is a loud drunk. However compared to his sister, this mean he's just more cheerful then he already is. Might get the whole bar singing. Has a medium alcohol tolerance. Beer is his go-to.

Caspian doesn't get drunk. At best, he's always pleasantly tipsy. He has a very high alcohol tolerance. Is one of those people who's always got a glass of wine or something. Does he drink water? On occasion. Fire-Wine is better. Fire-Wine is his go-to.

Chixian is an aggressive drunk. He doesn't drink too often but when he does it can get to be a bit much. By aggressive means that he's more prone to losing his temper. Luckily, Zhengyi is often at his side. Zhengyi often makes sure if he does drink, it's only a few swigs. He prefers alcohol that has a sharp warm taste.

Chiharu is a clumsy drunk. Meaning she will run into walls or trip face first. She usually doesn't drink while she's working but usually after work, late at night, she drinks with Venti as a means to relax herself. She's not a person to overdo it. Has a medium alcohol tolerance. Her go-to is Dandelion Wine.

Hajime is a quiet drunk. He drinks sake specifically to loosen up. Usually drinks with Yuki and only drinks until pleasantly buzzed. At best, he drinks to get relaxed. He has a high alcohol tolerance. His go-to is Inazuman Sake.

Ione is a clumsy drunk. Meaning, like Chiharu, she will faceplant and run into walls. Growing up in Mondstadt and at a bar no less, she has had a few drinks now that she's sixteen under her family, Chiharu, or Venti's supervision. She has a very low alcohol tolerance.

Kazuha is a sleepy drunk. He usually starts dozing after two or three bottles. He normally only drinks on special occasions or with close friends. He prefers to be sound of mind just in case things go awry. He has a low alcohol tolerance. His go-to is Inazuman Sake.

Lily is an irritable drunk. She tends to lose her temper far more often while drinking so... really, she doesn't. Only time she'll drink is when she's with Ginrai and partake in sake. Ginrai helps her by not letting her drink too much, just enough to get pleasantly buzzed. She has a low alcohol tolerance. Lily's one rule is she will never drink around her kids. Her go-to is Celestial Sake.

Lyra is a sleepy drunk. She grew up at a bar and so she started drinking once she was 'of age' in draconic standards. She has a low alcohol tolerance.

Maya is a sleepy drunk. She tends to fall asleep mid-sip and she ends up becoming the person she's drinking with's problem. It isn't uncommon for her coworkers to escort her home. She has a medium alcohol tolerance. Her go-to is Fire-Wine.

Miwa hasn't drank enough to become drunk, but she has drank under her parent's supervision -- specifically Ginrai's. She doesn't care for the taste too much. She has a low alcohol tolerance.

Nathaniel is an affectionate drunk, but selectively so. He might nudge someone or lean in a bit. His tail might also wrap around people's leg or something to that regard. He has a high alcohol tolerance. His go-to is Cherry Apple Cider.

Pan's constitution means he can't get drunk, but he can get buzzed. Due to his unique makeup as an Eldritch Faun, it provides a sense of protection, he guesses. He has a ungodly high alcohol tolerance. His go-to is a Spiced Cocktail.

Sienna is what we'll call a feline drunk. She tends to give into her cat-like instincts and stretch or purr often. Her siblings, Zhongli, Ione, and Chiharu are the only ones who know this side of her. She has a medium alcohol tolerance. Her go-to is Osamanthus Wine.

Silas is an affectionate drunk. He'd likely lay across the person next to him or rub his cheek against theirs, much like a cat. His tail often always finds the person's waist. If you like don't physical affection, don't drink with him is Caspian's advice. He has a medium alcohol tolerance. His go-to is Xocoatl.

Sora is a blushy tsundere drunk. She already is pretty dishonest about her feelings but it becomes more pronounced when drunk. It's recommended if you want to tease her, wait until she's drunk for maximum redness in the face/ears. She has a medium alcohol tolerance. Her go-to is a flavored Inazuman sake that's particularly strong.

Tsubasa is a flirty drunk. He doesn't drink often but when he does, he can't keep his words to himself most days. He also has a very low alcohol tolerance. His go-to is Beer.

Vega doesn't get drunk... like physically, she cannot. Due to being a being with a unique genetic makeup, she is much like Pan in that... yeah, girl can seem tipsy, but isn't. She does enjoy drinking nonetheless, as it allows herself to observe humanity at they're most vulnerable. She has a very high alcohol tolerance. She has no particular preference of alcohol.

Xue is an affectionate drunk. She isn't loud about it verbally, but she will drape herself across the person and often cuddle into them. Usually Xiao is the victim of this, unfortunately. She has a medium alcohol tolerance. Her go-to is Osmanthus Wine.

Zhengyi doesn't get drunk, not really. Pleasantly tipsy. Mostly because of his long-lived status but also his inner fire burns off anything before it gets to that stage. He has a ungodly alcohol tolerance. His go-to is any Liyue Spirit.

Venti is never not pleasantly buzzed honestly. He's already pretty relaxed but he's even more so when under the influence. If he's sober, and is at a point where he hasn't had a drink in weeks he gets pretty erratic with his personality. Tends to come across as hyperactive. His go-to is Dandelion Wine but honestly he'll try anything once.
