AND THANK YOU SO MUCH. I'm actually really surprised by the amount of support I received. My first posts on TikTok actually got a fair amount of---I don't think they were exactly hate comments(???), but they definitely didn't sound supportive of my art due to the style and the connotations behind it. Which is entirely fine btw, you don't have to like me or my art, but just by the amount, I assumed my recent PJs Daycare 10 Years Later comic would get an insane amount of pushback since not only is it drawn relatively close to the original style, but its a controversial au. Anyway, I'm so glad people know I do not support the original author and want to better it. I loved PJs Daycare so much, and I seriously wanna rekindle that old whimsical feeling I had reading it as a kid---except for the community bc I can't surprise myself apparently being the author :(

anyway merry Christmas you get a WIP drawing of cross for a height/reference sheet I'm making for an upcoming comic that is in no way related to pjs daycare (fresh is the mc are we shocked no we aren't) (URGG IT FEATURES A LOT OF GOOBY CHARACTERS I NEVER DRAW AND I WANT PANELS TO LOOK AT LEAST SEMI-COHERENT)

for a hot minute, I thought he was like canonly trans and was gonna lose my mind bc that'd be so friggin cool. but then I learned it was bc some sweat flake thought it'd be a good idea to be hella transphobic on tumblr of all places---and over a popular headcanon about an alternate version of sans undertale. crazy brahs.

anyway i now headcanon cross as trans

Cross grew up the golden child, always doing what he was told and even going beyond that, trying to earn affirmation, love, whatever, and later became a rebellious adult who was willing to burn herself and everyone around her to get free.

XPapyrus grew up the rebellious child, always questioning eveything and refusing to do or not do anything that didn't make sense to him, and later became a beaten down, obedient adult because he learned the hard way that trying to make things better only made things worse and the best thing to do was to keep his head down and pretend everything was fine.

This headcanon is based on stuff in the Xtale comics but Im too tired to explain right now ghghuhhhhh. Might draw this later if I'm feeling up to it idk
