What’s worse is that I’m actually confused if they meant Native Americans (which if anyone is unaware: calling Natives red indians or indians is offensive) or actual Indians because both cultures have been often represented in the media as savages. The “tarzan” reference is also fucking weird because if I remember correctly Tarzan’s fictional character is based in Africa. Top it off with the utter MESS of a dance break (which btw, if someone knows what they’re chanting in the dance break let me know because I am confused) and you have XRO’s debut single where they thought Racism, Cultural Appropriation and all around disrespectfulness was a great concept to go with :)
Once again, KPOP shows that they see all brown people cultures as interchangeable and won’t so much as take the time of day to educate themselves or their artists.
Btw This is a rookie group whose fans are ALREADY defending them, saying they don’t care if they’re called “problematic” but they fuck with XRO. Do yall see a problem here or is it just me? Every time these companies don’t acknowledge their racism and CA, these fans get validation to go and try to shut down POC voices.
I should mention, none of the actual members are credited for the song writing. The song was apparently written by @/9x_x9 and choreographed by @/j.tube_ (both on Instagram) but it blows my mind knowing how many approvals songs (esp debut songs I’d think) have to go through and this is the one that passed every single one.

I don't know about y'all but I'm tired. Im so tired of this kind of crap. I mean you just have to wonder what the hell is going on with these companies that think its ok???
