Notes: This is one of my older pieces but it has just gotten a piece of art (see Chapter 7) and I wanted to share it.

Summary:

Jared's a college kid looking to make it on his own far away from his Judge father, Beverly Hills, & the trauma of his childhood. When someone chooses to use him as leverage against his father he finds himself kidnapped and trapped back in a nightmare very much like the one he lived through at 5 years old.

Jensen's an ex-Army Ranger looking to rebuild his life & find a new career after an op gone wrong ruined his career & left him fumbling.

Hired by Mark Pellegrino to kidnap a Judge's son to make a point he's determined to prove that he can do it & move up in the man's shady organization.

Kidnapping the kid was simple. Not losing his hard edge with each day they're stuck together to big sad eyes of a kid who'd already accepted his fate not so simple.

Jared's past has secrets that begin to make Jensen doubt his own mission until the day comes when he realizes how much he's been used & what that might cost them both.

Title of fic: The Sinner, His Saint & Their Angel

Summary: Benny's afterlife had been simple. Fight, kill, or run. But then fate had smiled upon him and delivered Dean Winchester, a living breathing human who would be his means of escape. But all good things come with a catch, and the perpetually dour fallen angel Castiel was the wrinkle that Benny couldn't shake. Not that Dean would let him.

But Dean and Castiel have their own tangled history they can't shake, and Benny finds that for once in any of his incarnations, he wants to help them, just as much as he wants to help himself.

Snippet: “Why not? Why didn’t you forgive him?” Benny pressed, his tone becoming harsh.

“It wasn’t my place or within my purview.” Castiel paused in washing Dean’s arm, trailed his fingers down and interlaced them with the Omega’s own. “I was a fool. One being used because I was the dutiful soldier, who wouldn’t question. I obeyed. And the Righteous Man needed to be broken in hell. He needed to take up instruments and torment others.” Castiel stopped, closed his eyes, and blew out a deep, shaking breath.

“I have made many mistakes in my existence. Some small, some big. But none had ever caused me to question. Until that day. And then it was too late. He was resurrected, and there was nothing that could be done to ease his suffering.” Castiel reached out with his hand, cupped Dean’s jaw, smiling softly when the Omega leaned into the gentle touch.

“I know we aren’t mated. He would never allow it. And too often I have been absent from his side as I hid in my shame. So please, do what is needed. Give him what he requires.” Castiel let go of Dean’s hand, placed the rag next to the bowl, and closed his eyes.

Benny knew what would come next. A flutter of wings followed by the absence of this world’s most earnest Angel of the Lord. But he found that he couldn’t allow it. Not like this.

“Please stay.” The gentle request was accompanied by Benny’s hand wrapping around Castiel’s forearm. “He’s going to need you. Even if he won’t say the words, he won’t be at ease unless you’re nearby.”

“And then what? Watch while you claim him?”
