Winter storm with snow and ice covering + a scheduled #crosstraining day meant it was the perfect time to break out the #xcskis. @lynnucla traveled around our piece of the neighborhood and for the most part beat the plows to the streets. Nearby trail was in good shape too. Track session on tap tomorrow, #rrcaclubchallenge 10 mile race on Sunday. If 2 ½ hours of shoveling and a couple hours of ice fishing wasn’t enough, we went on a 10K ski on the Chassell Classic Ski Trail with our hiking group to close out the day!
Didn't lift today, per se, I shoveled snow (foot deep snow I might add) for about an hour and then skied around the new hood for 30 minutes!! It was so beautiful and peaceful! I have so much gratitude right now! And I am sweaty as hell!! Workout complete!!
