Ingredients: 4 pieces of salmon fillet 6 oz each. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 1/4 cup sake. 2 tablespoons mirin. 2 tablespoons honey. 1 tablespoon grated ginger. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon sesame oil. 1 tablespoon sesame seeds. Salt and pepper to taste. Cooked white rice, for serving. Steamed vegetables, for serving.
Instructions: In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sake, mirin, honey, grated ginger, minced garlic, sesame oil, salt, and pepper to create the marinade. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure the fillets are coated well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Remove salmon from marinade and discard excess marinade. Grill salmon for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and slightly charred on the edges. While salmon is grilling, cook white rice according to package instructions and prepare steamed vegetables of your choice. Once salmon is cooked, remove from grill and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
