Okay but.

I was tagged by @inastarlesssky to list and share pics of nine favorite characters. Which is hard! Ask me again in a week; half this list will be different, ahaha. Tried to stick to one character per property/franchise, mostly, because this would be an impossible task otherwise.

Julian Bashir (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) - I could honestly fill the whole list with just DS9 characters but Julian tops the list by the slimmest of margins, closely followed by Garak. And Kira. And Sisko. And Worf.

Cho Hakkai (Saiyuki) - comes packaged with Jiipu who is also my favorite depending on which day you ask me

Goujun (Saiyuki Gaiden) 🤍🩶🤍

Sai (Naruto) - I could also fill this list with Naruto faves; Yamato and Anko round out the top three

Dream of the Endless | Morpheus (Sandman) - it's really hard to choose between Dream and Hob but today, Dream takes the title

The Vampire Armand (The Vampire Chronicles/Interview With The Vampire) - I am wholly enamoured with this new iteration of an old favorite

Zuko (Avatar: The Last Airbender) (and Toph!)

Teal'c (Stargate: SG1) (and Daniel Jackson!)

Spike (Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel) (and Giles!)

The premise was Wufei was kinda doing his own thing at the preventers and had grown apart from the other pilots, who didn't realize how alienated he'd become.

I have a distinct memory of him in his out of the way "office" in the basement of preventers hq where he'd been slowly relegated and only really interacted with Mariemeia and occasionally Sally Po. I'm pretty sure I remember one scene of Sally playing with his hair and making a comment on how good looking it was, with him brushing her off, tho that may have been another fic i'm thinking of.

And at one point towards the end of the fic, the base is under attack and Wufei was leading the attackers on a chase through the underground portion of hq.

I don't remember which ship it might have been but I'm thinking it was either 1x2x5 or some iteration of it

Any help is appreciated, I'm trawling the depths of ffnet, mediaminer, and ao3 now trying to find it. I think it was a fairly good sized fic, tho idk the exact length of it.
