@haydenshallway introduction 08/09/’26

Honestly, I feel that the closure of @tankhall’s story with Ethel and Willoughby has had it’s perfect ending. I think of it as a movie, which I tend to make a lot of things into. It’s the final scene of their story that we’ve all watched. Hand in hand, both Ethel and Willoughby have had their conclusion. Would we like to see more? Of course, and that’s not wrong to feel. However, their lives is something that we’ve been able to catch a glimpse of, and having this glimpse into their lives has been a gift to witness. They walk together, away from our view, as they become smaller and smaller with their distance gaining. Does this mean that they’re gone forever? No. They continue on while we start a new journey, but this doesn’t mean the erasure of their story. I feel that it’s a bittersweet ending, like a French film. We now must move onto the next scene, with their lives in our memories, cherishing their story and and honoring their actions.

Happy end of an era..it’s been tough for everyone I think but so much good has come of it! An abundance of beautiful art, friendship, and thought has been birthed by wtialy! I only started this account a couple months ago but everybody has been so sweet to me and none of it would have happened without this album inspiring me to reach out to Colm and Zaya who encouraged me to keep creating :)
