I just started crying because I miss the Jamboree so much. It's been a year since I left for it, and I still miss it. Nearly every day, I think of something that reminds me of it, and I find myself reminiscing. It was such an amazing experience, the solidarity, the friendship, the laughs. I miss it so much. I think the hardest part is that (as cheesy as it sounds), the Jamboree really was a perfect world. It didn't matter what age you were, what colour your skin was, where you were from, your problems in your home country... Everyone was friends, and everyone looked out for eachother. It was fantastic.
I just want to go back. It really was the best three weeks of my life, and, if I'm honest, I'll be surprised if anything ever beats it.
