Tiny Dani/Jamie moments - inside the bigger moments - in the last ep of Bly Manor that make me want to scoop my heart out of my chest with a blunt spoon:
- When Jamie says “I’ve got a problem. Or rather, we’ve got a problem, Poppins.” At first Dani looks kinda worried, but it’s like as soon as Jamie drops the nickname Dani realises Jamie is teasing and she kinda smiles and says “Oh, no.” Jamie probably knew it, too, saw the worried look and dropped a ‘Poppins’. Or maybe it’s become so automatic that she didn’t even realise, and she doesn’t know that it’s a marker by which Dani is able to judge her moods and intentions, and I think that’s even cuter.
- When Dani looks in through the shop window and sees the lady of the lake in her reflection, the image is chased away when Jamie smiles at her from inside.
- Jamie’s goofy-ass adoring smile when Dani is holding the plant with the ring in it and she says she found it on the street and wanted to save it. Jamie knows that Dani is still with her, that this is still the woman she fell madly in love with. Classic, sweet, Dani, wanting to save the abandoned plant.
