#writing question

Mainly because I want to make sure I put the right tags and trigger warnings on my fic. Because the last thing I want is accidently hurt someone because I tagged wrong.

If a child gets (physically) hurt by its parents it’s child abuse.

But if the child is like 25+. Is it than still child abuse? Or domestic violence? (or another name?)

A lot of my emotional scenes have usually come about from something personal in my life that has happened, whether it's the same sort of scenario or how I wish something similar had happened or something that helps me deal with an issue. My story, Follow Where You Lead, was written to help me deal with a family issue that I was currently addressing in therapy. It wasn't thr same situation but loosely connected enough that writing it helped me to deal with a lot of feelings. So quite often emotional scenes are ones that I have either experieneced, or those feelings are ones I have experienced. Sometimes there is no link to scenes and the characters write themselves
