Alright strange but important question.
Mainly because I want to make sure I put the right tags and trigger warnings on my fic. Because the last thing I want is accidently hurt someone because I tagged wrong.
If a child gets (physically) hurt by its parents it’s child abuse.
But if the child is like 25+. Is it than still child abuse? Or domestic violence? (or another name?)
How would you tag it as?
Lovely lavender graphic made by daifukumochiin
this is a silly question but
people who write things other than fanfics (as in OCs)
how do you like...get started
i have concepts i have my barebones characters but aside from that i'm like howwww do i start where do i pull the first thread from
i know there's no right or wrong way to do it but call me shane hollander the way i need some RULES give me the PLAYBOOK
Woanton Weekend #3
review the rules and framework HERE! (+ visibility/tagging tips!)
individual prompt posts go live on the day indicated below!
Introductions (July 2)
who are you? what are your pronouns? what do you write? all genres and styles are welcome in this space. use this to briefly introduce yourself, your work, and your writing and reading interests
bonus prompt: do you know of any unique/not widely known sexual innuendos, euphemisms, and/or other figures of speech?
Sexy Snippet Share Saturday (July 4)
this week’s theme: let’s get risqué. . . well, more than usual. share a suggestive/steamy/sexy snippet that especially involves risk—forbidden romance? a precarious sex position? a sexual/suggestive scenario involving fear/danger? or that’s not quite “safe” or “sane”? etc.
Suggestive Sunday (July 5)
how much of yourself do you give away, leave on the page—intentionally or unintentionally? how has writing or otherwise engaging with steamy material affected your identity/sense of self?
bonus: recent rises in puritanical views has led to more censorship, threatening the livelihoods of those that create sexual, sensual, suggestive, taboo, and/or queer content
how have you been taking care of yourself, staying safe, and keeping yourself going amidst these conflicts?
reblogs/shares are much appreciated! here’s some cookies: 🍪 🥠

14 and 24 from the fic writer ask game please!
14. A lot of my emotional scenes have usually come about from something personal in my life that has happened, whether it's the same sort of scenario or how I wish something similar had happened or something that helps me deal with an issue. My story, Follow Where You Lead, was written to help me deal with a family issue that I was currently addressing in therapy. It wasn't thr same situation but loosely connected enough that writing it helped me to deal with a lot of feelings. So quite often emotional scenes are ones that I have either experieneced, or those feelings are ones I have experienced. Sometimes there is no link to scenes and the characters write themselves
24. I don't actually think anyone has ever given me wriring advice, not in how to write anyway. I've had advice on my ideas and how to shape them but never how to write. There's not many people in real life who know I write, it's mainly online!
Ya’ll think getting sand thrown into your eye and then you aggressively rubbing it would cause permanent eye damage?
