it really hurts my heart when I work so hard on a piece of content and somebody decides to leave a hate comment. Not even just with myself, but with other creators aswell. I fear fanfiction and other fandom content through apps like tumblr and ao3 becoming popular again has attracted some very shallow-minded people who can’t read warnings. Genuinely, if a piece of content upsets you that much, you can just ignore it. Somebody has spent their time and effort onto that piece and your first thought is to comment something rude because it didn’t feel right with you? If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it at all. This is what makes fanfic writers and other creators stop their passion.
