She had a few very select radio stations that she turned to during the day. When frustration made her head pound she turned it to Gentle Bops and let the beats literally take her stress away.

I have a budding story idea, but I don't know how to start it. It's about a girl in college, who one night during an all nighter, flips through the local radio stations and finds one that's hosted by another student, and she spends parts of her day triyng to find them. I'm debating whether or not to put realistic magic/fantasy in it. I was wondering if you had any prompts like that?

She’d been flipping through the channels for about ten minutes, trying to find something that wouldn’t lull her to sleep. She knew she should probably have been sleeping, but this paper needed to be done yesterday (quite literally, she had to beg her professor to let her turn it in late). She scrolled around once again and jumped when the static rose to a scream before mellowing out.
“-and there were several injured, but everyone seems to have survived. In other news, the warnings have been seen in the west. Red stars twisting. Probably not the signs of good things.”

The music coming out of the speakers was odd. It sounded as though it should have been making her drift off, slow moving notes almost shimmering in the air around her, but it was actually filling her with an odd sense of motivation. She picked up her pencil with a new vigor.
