Strengths: Great at portraying character with details and build up in any story (have ya’ll seen the way she writes obi DAMN just wowoo)

Weakness: Hard time fulfilling requests without straying too far from the original request while also making it her own. 

First Fic: Father Figure obi x jedi!reader (ya’ll i talked to rini before she started writing and then i saw that fic on my dash and i was blown AWAY too much talent its def one of my favs) 

Inspiration: She can get inspo from all types of things and places. Watching tcw helps to get to know the characters deeply and intimately. Most of the time inspo strikes randomly, other times in between the lines of something she saw. 

Fav Fic(s) Written so far: Cannonball obi x jedi! reader,,, a quick summary obi wan just goes right for a long awaited confession to you. This is one is her fav because it got to start writing and inspired the rest of her writing. (read this asap) 

Thing they love most about writing: she loves writing in general cause of the creative process it takes to get to the final piece. She feels everything is storytelling so it’s like putting a puzzle together it is a mental challenge but it stimulates her creativity (this was fckn poetic bruh she said all of that)

RINI babyyyy you know how much I love you! I’ve seen you grow as a writer since you started writing this year and everything you write is immaculate *insert the flavor is immaculate meme* the detail, the portrayal, the ideas, the imagery is all there in your own style. You know what you want when you write and you know how to execute it. The way you write obi wan is all your own you make him feel human, vulnerable, and questioning his place as a jedi. In other stories you make him the jedi, other times you didn’t make him a jedi just obi wan trying to navigate life and handle the aftermath of order 66 way after it was done (inhibition was one of my favs because how well you captured the trauma of the order and what its done to him.) Rini you are the sweetest person when we first started talking we connected over culture and music which is always so damn fun to do with you so i really appreciate you for handling my shenanigans. I got your back forever love. XX

Writer Appreciation Week Day 5 - “Fuck Kishi,” or “How to take canon and make it better” (my interpretation)

“As Kakashi and Yamato begin to offer each other sake, it dawns on Naruto that this is actually happening.

Kakashi, his sensei and Hokage, who has taught him almost every important lesson he knows, is marrying someone. Kakashi, who has spent more time at the memorial stone at this training ground than half the people present combined. Kakashi, who buys their team ramen, and pretends to like Sakura’s food experiments, and strong-arms Sasuke into displaying human affection, and accepted Sai into their team without a word. He has someone to hold him up, in the same way he holds their team and the village up.

It makes Naruto smile. He’ll have to thank Yamato later.”

I don’t agree with Kishimoto on a lot of his plot choices; however, I find it difficult to flat out say “fuck kishi!” because I mean... it’s his story after all. And also, he’s the man that created this whole Naruto universe we love so dearly.

With that being said, I chose a fic for this category that, well... improves upon canon quite a bit. It’s not outright anti-Kishi or anti-canon, which is part of why I like it so much. It simply takes the story Kishi created and runs with it, filling in the gaps that he so graciously left for us. :)

This fic is wonderfully written (as is everything by the author) and it left me smiling and feeling downright happy. It feels like this story was written for those of us out there who believe Kakashi and Yamato truly deserve happiness.
