ok so i've been revisiting some songs by wowaka and inabakumori (mostly his older stuff) because i saw some comments comparing the two which sent me down a whole rabbit hole so i've come back with thoughts.
a few things i've noticed:
from 'Secret Music' to 'Anticyclone', the song 'Non-Use' is the one that takes the most inspiration from wowaka. although both 'Anticyclone' and 'Copy and Pastime' are close seconds imo.
a lot of inabakumori's music has this sorta somber feeling to them much like wowaka but that seems to be a trait both artists share more than anything
i thought i had more to say but i guess i dont. admittedly, i dont know all that much about wowaka's music. i've listened to his album 'Unhappy Refrain' and a few of his solo songs but other than that i wouldn't say im an expert when it comes to him. i'm more into inabakumori (and r-906) but yk this may change. anyway, inabakumori is almost at 1 million subs on yt!!
