Kale in Vanilla.
Alright so Kale Zaxon was born prior to the first war. (Kale began in WoW, and so most of his story is WoW related.) His...beginnings are shaky, because I was young when I wrote him and thus I have some stupid tropes that still hold firm as I haven't really worked on them. It's fanfiction, not some rock solid piece of writing, so I've never cared. Kale was abandoned by his birth parents for being what he was, let's just say that. Nefarian felt a tug, a mysterious one, and followed it, to this little baby thing which abnormal power. Being the weirdo Nefarian is, he chose to raise it. Turns out Kale was a completely new species on Azeroth. (New meaning new for the time. Planore are originally FROM Azeroth as they are titanic constructs.) and also was bonded to Nefarian. Nefarian thought this was pretty neat, and despite being completely unfit to parent, was actually pretty great of one. Yes, he left Kale for dead in various parts of Blackrock Mountain, but that was all just part of raising him to be hard and strong. He took him to Stormwind, mostly for his own amusement, and Kale got up to shenanigans. This is where he got his name, as Nefarian saw a basket full of kale and thought. "That makes a good name." Anyways, Kale was 11 when Stormwind fell. (He's a year younger than Varian.) He watched it burn from the borders of SW with Burning Steppes. Spent the rest of the time between this event, WC3 and Vanilla just...growing and learning. Lots of travel. Gained his abilities at 13. (Hehehehehe does this show when I wrote it or what?) Idk, his ability to transform into a drake is important to me. His Dragoncaller heritage is passed down through the male line, but since dragons are not imposed on, it's not that powerful of an ability; it's only powerful with Kale as his flight is...rather insane. My man spent this time learning; nose stuck in books. What would Kale think of Kelsier?
They'd get along, though I think Kell would find Kale boring after a bit. Kale is def not a partier. He'd be fascinated by Scadrial, though.
