CASTLEVANIA SERIES 2: (spoiler free) Just finished watching and it was really good. The story is a bit crazy and high fantasy but it works as a anime story based on a video game. It just looks so nice. I never played the games but I had a few of the posters on my wall as a teen as the art was so great, and I was a proper goth back then. The second lead baddy is really great too. So I’d recommend watching it. STUBBER: ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5: (No spoilers) This action comedy is obviously a buddy movie and aside from the OTT Uber promoting, it was pretty amusing and fun. The character “Stu” really steals the show and there are a handful of really funny moments. It’s not gonna surprise you with an amazing plot, but as it’s primarily a comedy, that’s fine. There’s a lot of bad language though if you don’t like that sort of thing. It’s on NowTV and Sky ATM. Have you seen it? HAMILTON: ⭐️⭐️⭐️: (Spoiler free bit) I’m not a fan of musicals generally, but really good ones I do like. In many ways Hamilton was an amazing masterpiece, an usual mix of rap, spoken word poetry and song. I thought it was engaging and interesting to learn about American history in this way. It’s clever how certain characters have their own song or few words that get waived into the dialogue when they are on stage. The reasons I didn’t give it 5 stars, was them at it seems to be a celebration of someone who I’m not convinced is truly deserves it. You’ll have to go into the Spoilery bit for why. It’s available on Disney+ Have you seen it? What did you think? Did you see it live? (Spoilery bit:) I could be wrong but with the title and thrust of the show it seems to be a “celebration” of Hamilton, but in its fair depiction I’m not sure he comes off as that great a bloke. Hard working and influential sure, but couldn’t something like this celebrate a real real life hero like Martin Luther King Jr, rather than so objectionable a character? Old Gaurd: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: Very enjoyable movie, I liked the concept and it could be the first of many in this story. EUROVISION: FIRE SAGA: ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 - (No spoilers) Firstly, I don’t like the Eurovision Song Contest, but the trailer to this looked amusing. It was actually really good, a heartwarming comedy.
