Because yeah sure you can teach something the chemical change in your brain that leads to the feeling of love, you can tell it the physical reactions corresponding to fear or the common descriptions of joy.

But nothing can replace the emotions you get from a single emotion, and that’s such a complex, beautiful, HUMAN experience

The bliss and fun that comes from discussing a crush with friends, but also the confusion and the fear and the worry that you’ve made a bad impression, or they know and make fun of you, or they’ll just never feel the same way as you. The sadness or reluctance to move on, but also the relief that you won’t have all the stress associated. The excitement and butterflies when they cast you a smile, the spiralling anxiety late at night over something they probably didn’t even think twice about…

And that’s one “categorised emotion” that can’t ever be imitated from crush to crush, let alone person to person. One single experience becoming the root of a spiderweb of sensations to create a beautiful part of life.
