The past few months have been somewhat of a dumpster fire đĽ It has been stressful and emotional as hell, especially for us empaths. And with stress/being stuck at home comes a lot more indulging and less movement. I started this boxing program at the beginning of the lockdown, and it was honestly SO out of my comfort zone. But it has helped me soooo much mentally and physically through this crazy time. đđĽđĽ âŁâ¨âŁâ¨If you arenât feeling your best right now, please know that it is 1000000% OKAY. Iâm not coming on here to say I am a better person on the right than I am on the left. I wasnâtâ¨tuned into my diet, I was doing boatloads of cardio, notâ¨lifting weights, drinking skinny teas and taking fatâ¨burners. If it said âlose weight fastâ, I probably tried it!â¨-â¨đđźFast forward five years⌠and lots of mistakes later, Iâ¨created this little pyramid for you guys so you knowâ¨what to focus on when you are trying to tone up andâ¨lose fat.â¨-â¨â ď¸Hereâs the golden pyramid of fat loss for you guys!â¨1ď¸âŁCalorie Deficit: Eating less calories than your bodyâ¨needs is the only way to lose fat!â¨2ď¸âŁEat Enough Protein: to maintain muscle mass, toâ¨recover from workouts, to keep you full and satiatedâ¨when youâre dieting and so you get toned aka you donâtâ¨turn âskinny fatââ¨3ď¸âŁLift Weights: 2-5x a week! (usually 3-4 is a sweetâ¨spot for most people) donât be afraid to go heavy, itâ¨WONâT make you bulky unless you eat too manyâ¨caloriesâ¨4ď¸âŁSleep: 7-9 hours a night to recover, rest and keepâ¨your hunger levels in check. when you donât sleepâ¨enough, your body will be hungrier. so get those Zzzs!â¨5ď¸âŁCardio, Movement, and 10k steps/day.
