Hey if anyone out there is trying to get into working out, here's a friendly reminder to do back strengthening exercises. Maintaining good posture is essential for workouts (and just good in general) so don't skip out on back exercises. Both upper and lower back too. Take it from the person who has scoliosis, this stuff is important.
My favorite exercises are these ones that I've included pictures for. Don't try to use heavier weights than you can manage; you're here to strengthen your back, not destroy it. Just use comfortably heavy weights and do however many reps you think you can manage. Don't forget to push yourself gradually as you get better. For me, I noticed an immediate improvement to my posture, so strengthen. your. back!!
