I've come to the realization that it's possible people do value me and my opinions enough that the things I say or do can hurt their feelings. and that maybe people actually mean it when they say they care about my wellbeing, and aren't just saying it because it's what I need to hear and they enjoy me. that maybe someone can actually love me the way I love myself. skill issue on their end.
