Word Masters: My Opinion.
Leigh Bardugo - Six of Crows Duology. Her writing is beautiful, captivating, and her skill with humor and dialogue is something I have never experienced before. I look forward to reading the series again.
Margaret Rogerson - An Enchantment of Ravens. This book is poetry turned into a novel. Personally, I am a fan of very expressive writing, and her power with pen and paper is a direct hit at my sweet tooth.
Sarah J. Maas - Throne of Glass Series and A Court of Thorns and Roses Trilogy. Her world-building is spectacular. She has created such a beautiful, intriguing, dangerous world of Fae that it is hard to remind oneself that it is fiction. Reading her novels is a double edged sword, wonderful and captivating, but also, at least in my case, they make me wish this world were a dream and her world a reality.
Cassandra Clare - Shadowhunter Chronicles. This woman has managed to create a universe out of a single series. She captivates the essence of human curiosity and vanity beautifully. You know how people on this platform write fan fictions about their favorite character’s future children, well she’s probably already written a book about the next generation of shadowhunters...or the previous one. Also, how on earth does one manage to get millions of readers to fall in love with multiple people in a single family tree?
