No weaving for 3 weeks as I strained my lower back. Back at the same warp changing the red wool for natural white.
British wool. Sett 24epi. #262 in the Strickler book - complicated draft but the treadling is relatively straightforward. I’ll be interested to see how it looks once it’s been wet finished.
A new warp for David this time in wool yarn. I’m out of practice where weaving wool is concerned so we shall see how it goes.
The last of the Bateman extended manifold twill. Linen warp and tabby, wool pattern Weft. Once washed I randomly applied dyes which was an experiment.

Getting going on the Schacht Cricket rigid heddle loom with waste linen and wool yarn. A challenging weave. The thick Weft is there to help the warp ends spread evenly. Unfortunately I already have a couple of broken ends.
