Taking a break on day 7 with wool pulled from the recesses of Ye Olde Eternal Stash.

Wools as noted in photos. The Southdown was stored in a ziploc -not recommended for long term storage- and requires a quick carding to prepare for spinning. The finished yarn will be textured with slubs popping out randomly - a common feature with dyed Southdown.
In contrast, the Louet sliver is butter soft and needs no pre-work. The draft is smooth and clean. This will make a nice knitted lace cowl. Stay tuned.
