(two seconds of silence, then 4c coughs lightly) Branzy: I also told Pangi we could kiss later. I-it's-it's-I'm not trying to—I'm just saying—it's more like. Out of like—they felt bad, you know, I wanted them to feel good. They were like, "no one wants to kiss me," and I was like, "aw, that's so sad." (four seconds of silence) 4c: Do I. I'm a married man. 4c: (reading what he has typed but not sent in chat) "Branzy was saying he asked to kiss you later is this true?" (three seconds silence) Can I say that, Branzy? (four seconds of silence, then 4c giggles) The pause—! Lay off holding—I'm holding the message, Branzy. (sees what Branzy wrote in chat, starts laughing harder) [Branzy in game chat: are we still on for our kiss later?] Branzy: I'll do it. N-no one's gonna— 4c: No one's gonna speak for you? Branzy: —no one's gonna offer my kisses but me. (4c begins coughing due to laughing so hard) Branzy: (reading what Pangi put in chat) "Of course." (Branzy laughs) Oh that's so funny. 4c: (reading what he wrote in chat) "This is awesome." (4c coughs) [Branzy in game chat: 4C wants in] 4c: (saying it as he writes it in chat) "No no no no." (Branzy snickers) "I'm okay actually." [Woogiex in game chat: nonono 4c is all MINE] [Branzy in game chat: deal, kisses for all] (4c giggles, Branzy joins, then five seconds of silence) 4c: I-I-I-I'm afraid to interact with this now, (Branzy starts laughing) I'm gonna be honest. “You know…” Jojo trails off, peering through her visor at Rek. “I don’t really think Apocalypse is the biggest threat out there.” Rek looks at her from where he’s hoisted himself up onto the railing of the building they're perched on. "Really? Even with all the" —he makes a complicated motion with his hands that she assumes means the orbital strike cannon— “stuff?” “Nah,” she grins, because Rek barely even sounds offended. And he’s genuine about that, too. “I think it’s Team BING. But maybe… that’s just the KOS they put on my head speaking.” At that, Rek gives her a delighted little laugh, tilting his head to the side.  “Yeah, they’re pretty scary. Last time when I got jumped by Pentar and Yungy, it was so cooked for me. Like, there was no saving me from that situation, they took one of my lives.” She winces at that, making a sympathetic noise. Losing a heart always hurts. “Oof. That’s gotta suck dude, glad you survived.” “Thanks,” Rek grins at her. Jojo reaches out to pat his shoulder, and he leans forward a little, giving her access. Or maybe she’s just moved closer. She doesn’t miss how he’s entirely avoided the topic of how dangerous Apocalypse is, though. Before she can think too deeply on that, Woogie lands next to her with a tumble and a half-grunt-half-yelp, straightening himself with the help of her shoulder. “Hi! Hello,” he coughs, “sorry I’m late.” He slants her a suspicious-looking stare which she reciprocates—even if she has no idea what Woogie’s giving her the look for (unified fronts are important!)—before snapping his head back to look at Rek.
