𝑶𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔
In our contact with an 𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓, whatever the nature of such an “other” may be, there, on the boundaries of ourselves, in that misty, diffuse, in-between space, that surrounds us & in which we ourselves are immersed, a give-&-receive exchange occurs, between ourselves & “it/that”.
Ex𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦 in turn 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘴 us irreversibly.
Bathing in the ᴍɪsᴛʏ ʙᴏʀᴅᴇʀʟᴀɴᴅs; the in-between space, we are renewed, from within.
Periodically we are pulled into the 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘵, the 𝘮𝘺𝘴𝘵ery in-between space, the borderless ʙᴏʀᴅᴇʀʟᴀɴᴅs.
Here we are immersed, into “nothingness”, we fall into ᴍʏsᴛᴇʀʏ space.
We slip through the ᴏᴘᴇɴɪɴɢs (that opened up in the exchange & contact ʙᴇᴛᴡᴇᴇɴ us & the “other”), into “timeless space”, we disappear.
Some call it “dying”.
From where we rise back into the world, wholly new & renewed, born again into this NOW.
But we have been changed, by our dip, we are not the past version of us, we are what IS now. We carry nothing, we are free, we are self-created, reconstructed.
Each night we dip/slip into the mist & we wake, from our dreamings, ɴᴇᴡ, with the rising of the daytime sun.
With each “rite of passage”, we visit 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔, from which we return, a renewed version of ourselves. The old life & the old “me” is gone.
We have forgotten how to ᴜɴʟᴏᴄᴋ the openings, to walk the passages through space that lead to our renewal.
ᴛʜᴇ ᴋᴇʏs, ᴛᴏ ᴄʀᴏss (ᴛʜᴇ ᴀʙʏss) ʜᴀᴠᴇ ʙᴇᴇɴ ʜɪᴅᴅᴇɴ. You must become a seeker to find them.
We become stuck on the old timelines of ourselves, repeating things over & over.
So we age & carry the weight of an outworn past, and our outdated cast.
We are no longer who we truly are, something is missing, the ᴋᴇʏs that unlock the passage through the ᴍɪsᴛ.
Openness, between ourselves & the “other”, whatever the nature of the “other” may be, through contact between ourselves & the “other”, is how we ʀᴇᴄᴇɪᴠᴇ/how we ᴄᴏɴᴄᴇɪᴠᴇ— the new, a new birth, a new “me”.
The birth of ideas, insights, conceptions, or our own rebirth.
The butterfly reconstructed from the collapse into ᴍɪsᴛ and ᴍᴜsʜ of the caterpillar.
