Look I get how it is now, everyone and anyone can tattoo. The pandemic changed the whole industry. How?

Well, get cozy, gather round.

Boredom and amazon. Nothing against either but combined has led to what is actually hurting the tattoo industry. We're looking at oversaturation, severe undercutting at rates never seen in this industry. I've always tried to keep my prices fair, at market value and what I can contribute. This isn't and never was about gatekeeping. Think would you hire an electrician who was self taught?

That being said can you really find an artist who's work is good quality and clean, who knows proper after care, who follows the blood borne pathogen standards? Yes.

The question then becomes what do I really value here?

What does my artist value? Ah we don't hear that too often.

A great artist goes above and beyond.

So listen I'll share my values:

Immaculate clean shop, with good lighting. My station is always kept extremely tidy and properly sanitized.

A welcoming atmosphere, where you feel comfortable. Questions, any questions are welcome! Communication is essential.

A genuine passion for what I do. I've drawn my whole life, committed to a very tough apprenticeship, saw it through.
