I need to say right away that Nnoitra is 7′1″. It’s unbelievable and I hate it. He is almost 2 whole ft taller than me.
Anyways, the dynamic between Nnoitra and Phelinx is an interesting one because they’re both so similar that it makes them hate each other for it. They’re both aggressive and competitive people, so it leads to a lot of hostility at the start.
The thing is, they both have such bad issues and are majorly depressed. So my favorite parts from this ship come with them both trying to overcome their issues and kinda holding each other’s hands along the way. They don’t fix each other, not by a long shot. At first they’re both incredibly bad for the other’s issues. But they become a support system for the other and so help each other in certain ways. They both start to open up too. Both Phelinx and Nnoitra are incredibly guarded and cold and refuse to open up to other people. But they do, eventually. Because they can understand each other pretty well compared to others.
Also these two are the ship most likely to hit each other with chairs for fun or smash their heads together to see who falls first. The definition of Boys will be Boys but in the most moronic way possible. And the most important fact about this ship is the first time they kissed it was just Nnoitra smashing his face into Phelinx’s because he doesn’t actually know how to kiss and he almost broke Phelinx’s nose because of it.
