I wish they would explain how One-Eye and Longbranch are brothers. But I suppose that'd never happen. I do like that One-Eye admits he should have learned the language though.

This right here bothers me. Narratively, why make one of the skulls old and dug up? Is it because of how many skulls were in the original issue's pillar, and Wendy didn't want to kill anyone else off? Why not make a new character? It's not as if we know all the elves from back then. She made up Trueflight for this comic, she could have made another one. Pike and/or Rainsong's mom(s)? Redlance's parents? The lost daughter of Clearbrook that was mentioned twice an never again? She could have pulled a character from the novels like Amber, Briar, or River or someone and killed them off. Anyone related to Woodlock? We know nothing about his family before Recognition. Maybe someone related to Shale or Eyes-High? Make someone have a lost sibling? It really wouldn't be that hard.
