List of unsorted Wolf's Rain aus I've thought of but don't really know what to do with so I'm throwing them out into the void (aka tumblr)
. au where Darcia actually did die when his keep was destroyed that explores how his absence would've affected the last few episodes (aka him not showing up for the Jaguara showdown and how he was responsible for over half of the cast's deaths)
. Manga au where the main pack adopts those two orphaned pups that were from the pack that tried to take Cheza from them
. au where the old lady wolf that was being kept prisoner by Jaguara wasn't taken back to be killed and was still there when Hige came around, and Hige was in fact the collared wolf who she believes sold out their pack
. Band au that takes the whole "washed up rock star" look and vibe they were going for with Zali literally (this is funnily enough one of the ones I've thought the most about)
. Zali is an adoptive father figure to the main gang au. That's it really lol
. Modern au where everything's happy and the wolves are Cheza's gaggle of dogs she always has with her because I think it'd be fun to play around with what dog breeds they would hypothetically be (bonus points if Blue's still a wolfdog (and extra bonus points if they can still talk))
. Post canon joke au where Kiba thinks Hige is dropping vague hints that he remembers their past life and is also still a wolf but Hige's a wolf therian and thinks Kiba is too
