Incense Caller

Came back from a con, got my space ship towed to the garage (she developed a real issue in June, then I was gone), and came up on a deadline for a very local display opportunity.

She came in while I was sitting behind my BLFC table on Sunday. I did not sketch her, I just did my best to remember for when I was home and could paint.

Not a set, but to be in harmony with Incense Dreamer from last spring.

I really love how her torso came together. (I don’t know if could recreate how perfect her tummy is, but I will try)

This piece will be on display in our local Femist book store along side another local womxn artist for the month of November. After that, who really knows!

I have been toying and playing with adding tactile elements to some more recent pieces (earring). As I watch parts of my world slip into the slop like Atrax I am leaning into doing things that the slop cannot recreate.
