Als Kind wollte ich immer ein Haustier haben. Was Kleines, einen Vogel oder einen Hamster. Ich habe sämtliche Kataloge durchgeblättert, weil meine Mutter immer gesagt hat: "Hier sind richtige Schnäppchen drin!" Das Durchblättern hat leider nie was gebracht. So wie's aussah, waren die Schnäppchen alle schon ausverkauft.

Heutzutage blättere ich immer noch gerne die Kataloge durch. Vielleicht finde ich ja mit meiner neuen Brille eine günstige Maus - oder so was. Erst gestern ist mir etwas ins Auge gesprungen:

Einen Käfig, ein Terrarium oder reicht eine Leine? Benötigen die viel Auslauf? Und was brauchen die zu fressen? Ich erhoffte mir mehr Auskunft und las weiter. Die Enttäuschung ließ nicht lange auf sich warten. Der Anzeige zufolge sollte ein Trend 497 Euro kosten! Ob's die auf dem Schwarzmarkt billiger gibt? Sofort verbannte ich diesen Gedanken aus meinem Hirn. Nein, sagte ich mir, das ist beschämend und menschenunwürdig, selbst für ein Tier!

Ich überlegte mir mehrere Finanzierungsmöglichkeiten. Wenn ich meinen Freund aus der Wohnung schmeiße habe ich genügend Platz und Geld. Den Kerl habe ich schon fast ausgewachsen bekommen, da war mit Erziehung nicht mehr viel zu machen. Außerdem frisst der weitaus mehr als so ein Trend - mit Sicherheit! Wobei es mir immer noch ein Rätsel war, warum ein Haustier über 400 Euro kostete. Wahrscheinlich das Futter. Ich überlegte, wo ich günstig Roggenkorn bekommen könnte und hoffte, dass mein Trend nicht an der Nahrungsumstellung stirbt. Mann kennt das ja von Katzen, wenn die mal nicht ihr Pedigree - oder wie das heißt - bekommen!

Mein Entschluss stand fest, ich lege mir einen Wohntrend zu! Und da der noch so jung ist kann ich den auch noch richtig erziehen. Als ich die Anzeige fertig las wurde ich sogar noch mehr in meinen Absichten gestärkt: "Komplett abholbereit!" Super, hab ich sogar die Erstimpfungskosten gespart! Die Ernüchterung kam am Ende der Anzeige. Sie war nur bis letzte Woche gültig gewesen.
