When I finish writing my rewrite I plan to post the story to AO3! That is a long ways away though.
Onto Snowfall!
I like giving IceWings a lot more color and while I understand that Snowfall’s coloring is mostly the lighting for her cover, I REALLY liked the color palette and yoinked it for my purposes.
As much as I like Snowfall’s character arc, I always felt like Book 14’s inclusion in Arc 3 felt narratively dissonant. I’ve already talked about how I don’t like Arc 3 and I’ll save that talk for some other day.
I’ve made the decision that, if and when I get to writing Arc 3, I’m cutting Snowfall and Pyrrhia’s involvement with Pantala’s story. Instead, I want to plan a Snowfall Legends that acts as a capstone to Arc 2’s story, taking place directly after the conflict with Darkstalker is over. I think that would be a fun story to tackle!
